My custom bodies @ Luthiers Warehouse were only an extra fiver for rear route... Scratchplates would of been at least a tenner... I think a clear plate on a Jazz where a control plate is fitted keeps 'the lines' Maybe a smoke plate on white would look cool... Grimalkin Posted October 14, 2022 Share Posted October 14, 2022 If you like playing over ramps, or pickups effectively acting as ramps, then for different thumb techniques, a nice thick pick-guard does the same thing.
