If I had to by a critical git I'd say your singer could do with giving it a bit more welly a la Baby Charles' Dione Charles, although not too much, and you could go for a bigger sounding vocal again for a chorus hook (quad tracking and panning would do it, with some harmonies too). Oh, and sweet keys![/quote] thanks for your comments and advice, cheers.... it was recorded on the mv 8800 so i run out of linear tracks pretty quick, i really need to get into using the sampler to trigger some additional vox etc like you say. p.s don't tell anyone but the bass player (me) did the keys.. ha!
