The only thing I hope is they have sorted the weight issue. The other jazzes already on their list are boat anchors.

Given that they have the same pickups as the current Js but a poplar body, I would not be surprised if the new ones were a response to the well known criticism that the basses are too heavy.

However, my JB75fl was both heavy and a neck diver. Hope this new ones have significantly lighter necks/headstocks.

If they have sorted all this out this is likely going to be my next bass

It'll be my next one.

Unless they bring out something else first.

Down with that sort of thing! The correct number of strings is four.

Maybe on a Uke or a Cello ... but on a Bass ...  I think in this case we do not see eye to eye (or is that string to string)

Simple maths ... 5 fingers ... five strings lol

S'manth xx (Often wrong but hopefully amusing at times!)

Something else HB posted on their FB page earlier.......

No idea if that's linked to the original tease? It looks fairly retro with the shell pink and doesn't really match the tuners from the first post 🤔

I think that's maybe a close up of the new range of j basses. 🤷‍♂️

This is different to last week's release, although probably in the same sort of colours.

Big Q?.. Whats the weight?

There are also a couple of cheapy Bax / Fazley's id like... but i'm told i've got too many... It's only 8!

I'm really tempted by a Fazley, but haven't heard loads. I wonder how they compare to HB?
