JAUQO III-X Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 (edited) Sire 6 String Vintage V7 Edited October 20, 2022 by JAUQO III-X 6 Quote
nilorius Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Looks pretty nice. Could be a good choice for those 6'lovers ! Quote
Cato Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 It'll be interesting to see the price point. I think the current M7 sixer is around the £1k mark new, so not exactly a budget option. Although as a V7 fretless owner I have no doubts of the quality. Quote

Right now there are no plans to offer it as a new model option. Quote

Grimalkin Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 I like the V7 five string I have quite a bit, but I have to ask, what's the weight? Can you lift it with one arm? Quote

The balance is not to bad and the neck is not chunky so that eliminates the uneasiness that a wide neck can cause for some players. I have small hands and I have no issues with the neck at all. Overall a very well crafted bass. Quote

I have a V7 five and an M7 fretless five and they are two of the best buys I've made in years. Quote

MattW Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 Thanks for posting @JAUQO III-X. If they ever put this into production I'd buy one in a heartbeat! Big fan of Sire basses and I much prefer 34 inch scale, a lot of 6 strings are 35+. 1 Quote
