richardd
Just bought this nearly new cab with a metal grill ,but it rattles quite a bit, probably won’t hear it at volume, any suggestions as how to dampen it😊
Count Bassy
Check all the screws are tight, and possibly put an extra stay between the baffle plate and the grill somewhere?
Lozz196
Is it definitely the grill that rattles? I ask as I’ve had a couple of cabs which rattled and the problem was the tweeter - even when switched off, part of it rattled on low notes. richardd
Defo the grill Loz,if you pat it with your hand it rattles, screws all tight.Spoke to mr Green, suggests maybe a black rubber door stop in the middle of the grill, underneath of course, going to try that tomorrow also putting some self adhesive draught excluder sound the edges.😊
