yorks5stringer
Not much of a discount on a working second hand one, given repairs won't be cheap. I read they go for around 3k but what do I know....? BTW the Centaur symbol is not 'nice and crisp', in fact it's non existant!
NikNik
Is that Dumble-style gunk to stop you trying to back-engineer it?
TheGreek
if you can get this repaired, you are easily doubling (or three times that, if you hold it for longer) the initial price. So £7k it is then..
prowla
I read the description... "Aside from the power problem fact it doesn't work, the pedal is in good condition overall".
Woodinblack
"As I’m a bit worried about sending it all the way to Bill Finnegan in the United States to fix it," and also given that he doesn't run that company any more.
Jean-Luc Pickguard
"Collection only due to the value of the pedal" As it no longer works as a pedal I think he means the value of the paperweight—which is probably about a tenner on a good day. In recent JHS video, there was a blind shootout between Josh Scott's original Klon and a £23 mini Mosky clone. in the admitedly unscientific test, the cheapy was deemed the better sounding pedal. I have the mosky on my guitar board and it certainly sounds good enough to me.

Three pairs of pedals - I couldn't tell the difference between the Tube Screamer and the clone, although the guitarist could. Could definitely tell the difference between the RAT and the Mosky Black RAT, and thought (like the guitarist) that the Mosky sounded better. And I couldn't tell the difference between the Klon and the Mosky clone, and the guitarist couldn't either.
