Beedster Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 £4k for a passive Stingray? Seriously? Quote
Bunion Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Lovely, but at that price around £400 more than it was new, it must have matured under his bed like a fine wine 😂🤣 Quote

I seem to remember the import charges being mega steep. It is lovely but damn expensive. 1 Quote
oldslapper Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Please read the description. “It’s still got the plastic on the pickguard.” You might be in a better bargaining position by asking for it to be removed. Quote
walshy Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 It belongs to a mate of mine and he's a member on here too @Fleabass. Yeah its a lot of money, I think he's asking less than it cost to buy plus the mental import duty added to it which took it over the £4k he was asking. Its now a bit less than £4k too and I am sure for those interested on here a message direct to him is the way to go. Great basses, low run artist signature model = high price ticket item 2 Quote
Fleabass Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 Hey everyone, Yeah I’ve got it on eBay but in fairness the total cost is to cover the ridiculous charges from eBay (already been charged an arm and leg to get this to the UK from MM originally). Open to offers - honestly, I’m really looking for c£3,500 which would break me even. Any questions just give me a shout. Cheers Dom 6 Quote
mentalextra Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 People forget how eBay really bite your donkey with their fees these days? I usually only rub my thighs about Wal’s, but boy that’s a beautiful thing! 2 Quote
hiram.k.hackenbacker Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 If I had it in me to sell one of the basses I already have, I’d be after this. GLWTS 👍 2 Quote

This version has the treble boost / cut which gives the classic MM tone too (albeit not the active model). Unfortunately, I guess I just prefer Jazz basses and it’s not getting the use it deserves. Thanks man 👍🏻 Quote

(But here's a generally more convivial place!) Quote
