thebrig
For a one-off session, could we connect a powered PA to bass guitar cab? The reason I ask is because four of us want to have knock in a village hall where there won't be a PA, but one of the guys has a powered PA but no speakers, so we were wondering if it is possible to connect the PA to a bass cab to get us through the session. mybass
By ‘powered PA’ do you mean a mixer amp…..something like this pictured below yes it could be plugged into any speaker but a bass cab may not carry vocals very well, maybe add more tweeter if the cab has one….I’ve played an mP3 through my markbass amp and speaker setup. Yes, a mixer amp similar to the one pictured
mybass
Shouldn’t be a problem then, the bigger the cab the better I would think.
