A very nice versatile preamp, can play passive or active 18v so capable of giving plenty of headroom.  Comes from a 2013 year bass

 

I have upgraded to J retro deluxe (and not likely to go back) so this is surplus to requirements and will be a good upgrade for someone wanting to pimp their jazz.

 whats the controls on this please and do you have to have it either passive or active or is there a pull switch to activate both?

Hi,

passive and active is engaged by a switch on the control panel.

 

The controls are

Pot 1 -  master volume,

Pot 2 - pan control  bench & bridge

Pot 3 -  bass boost/cut.   Treble boost/ cut

Pot 4 -  mid boost/cut.  & frequency sweep

 

Active/passive switch

Pot 4 is mid cut and boost plus passive tone I do believe.
