Orange Two stroke any good for bass? Help please.

I would like a clean boost for a couple of numbers where the bass comes "to the front". Would this chap linked below do that?

Also, the 5 piece may be going out as a 4 piece for a few gigs so I'm thinking it would give a little more beans when the only guitarist is soloing.

Another way might be a volume pedal with a 'minimum' setting.

Another pedal that might be worth looking at is the TC Spark Booster (full size one, not Mini).
