It's a solid update from Boss I think, I had the SL-20 for a bit, years ago and it was fun. I have no real use for one anymore, but if I did, this new format is winning.

I loved the one in my ms3 for song ending etc, got a sl-20 a few months back had to grab this one!!

Also the midi clock and switching! The midi switching would be amazing in pedals like the sy-1

I used to have an SL-20 and it was bonkers fun. Putting a Future Impact ->OC2 ->SL-20 chain together was synthtastic. It was the size of a small house though, so this format is very cool.
