51 p bass tone pot problem

Hi has anyone got a wiring diagram or picture of the control plate wiring

my tone pot has stopped working and ive discovered a  bare wire that is earthed on the tone pot but is not connected anywhere

any ideas

I’d be having all that out of there and starting again 😄

Could be the ground from the bridge? But that wouldn't stop the tone working.
