Stand for offset bodies

Hi folks

Just curious what’s everyone’s favourite compact stand for offset bodied basses (i.e Jazz bass)

When I’m forced to pack light, I have a couple of ‘A’ stands & they have the swing-up neck supports, I’ve never really trusted the standard ‘A’ frame stands, but the two I have fold down & fit in a 15” x 15” Gator mixer bag.

I’ve been trying to track down a spare but they’re proving to be quite rare these days.

They’re not perfect with J-bass bodies but do give the extra security with the neck support?

This, although I use the GS 100 because I don't really care about the locking yoke. I think Ultimate are the best stands available, and are all I've used for years.

I've got a Fender Universal A frame stand. Quite compact,  good for offset bodied guitars/basses. It's not as compact as the Hercules mini stands I used to have, but it is much more stable.

 

Not sure I'd say it's a favourite, but it does a decent job.

I use an Ultimate GS-1000 Pro for my bass also.

I had one (might have been the unprofessional version). Pros: tall enough for a Warwick Buzzard. Cons: poor quality for something so expensive, it broke.
