Heathy
The flip side of this is that if people aren’t dancing it’s all our fault!
Ralf1e
Yes I was bought in to the Gospel church where I play to do just that. Edited November 8, 2022 by Ralf1e
Nail Soup
This article is not such good news as you may think. It is about very low frequencies, rather than audible bass if I read it correctly. So more justification to sound engineers who make the bass a low frequency mush rather than being able to hear the notes.
TheGreek
So these "scientists " got a grant of several thousands of pounds to put on a rave and ask those attending whether they could hear the additional bass...🤭🤭 That's real science...
Bolo
Motion tracking, no questionaire. And sub-bass: below 20 Hz. Inaudible.

There has been a lot of research on noise cancelling and noise reduction for clubs and outdoor events allowing people to continue to enjoy live and electronic music where it may have been banned previously. Something we should support as musicians.
StickyDBRmf
I played "Bassically" with a Morely Wah and a girl came up after and said wasn't that a bit "expanding"? I asked what she meant by that and she said she felt like she "had to go to the bathroom". Don't know if she was dissing me but I took it as a compliment.
