The space out pickup placement caught my eye...will definitely keep an eye out in case there's ever a chance to try one.

Definitely a Peavey. Probably a Millennium, with the sparkly red finish, although the Fury, Milestone, etc of that era all had that body shape.

 

I think the Furys all had humbuckers rather than J pickups though, and the Milestones all had scratchplates.

Aye, Peavey Millennium J4.

 

J4 Plus models had a Hipshot D-Tuner but we'll never know since the photo doesn't show all of the peghead.
