2001 model owned from new. Lovely active bass with a great feel and sound.

Condition is very good - there are a few dinks in the body and neck (see pictures) and two missing tuner caps but nothing that affects playability.

The bass is 35" scale with three band eq, alnico pickups, 3 band eq, Ash body.

Currently strung with flatwounds.

Collection/can deliver or meet within a reasonable distance.

Hi, I have googled this and sorry if this is a daft question, does this bass have an active/passive switch. Are you stuck if the battery runs out?

Hi there, they are active basses with no passive option, so always carry a spare battery ;)

Had one of these in the same colour as my first 'proper' bass. Saved months and months for it as a skint 6th former! This is a ridiculous price for what is a true, high-end, Japanese made Yamaha. Brilliant pickups and a studio class Pre-amp. They're absolute funk machines!

Bargainous! GLWTS.
