Randy_Marsh Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Just having a listen to them, very weird band but the bass playing is pretty good anyone else heard of them?? Quote
Hamster Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Didn't they do something in collaboration with Anne Summers? Quote
Randy_Marsh Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009
Didn't they do something in collaboration with Anne Summers?
Lmao! nice.. erm has the bassist Jean Beaudin in it (not sure on spelling) an avid Conklin man, very good Quote
AdamWoodBass Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Jean Baudin is the player who got me into two handed tapping. Most people don't know about him and just think of Wooten when you talk about tapping on the bass so I dutifully direct them to some of Jean's youtube videos! Love Nuclear Rabbit, nice and mad just the way I like it! Cheers Ad Quote

d-basser Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Nuclear Rabbit are great, suitably bonkers for my tastes. Shows Jean is more than just the Mario theme. Quote
ARGH Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Try Behold ....The Arctopus Not really Bass...Its a Warr guitar..mentalists I prefer Jean doing his solo thing. (And NO that does NOT include that super Mario theme vid) Quote
OutToPlayJazz Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Bass player - Excellent. Drummer - Fun. Guitar - Just a wall of nonsense noise. Singer - Good at screaming. In essence, a great rhythm section spoiled by the usual tossers. Yes, I am oooold! Quote

Finbar Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Actually, I think the singer is awful at screaming. Jean's work with Element: of Surprise is infinitely better than Nuclear Rabbit. Though both have their place for me And Jean is my biggest influence. Quote
