Alden Mustang copy - any good?

Anybody played one of these? I've done a quick Google search and can only find informatioin about Alden violin basses. I've messaged Jow via Ebay, but no reply as yet.

That bridge looks like the one they use on the SBMM Sub range.

"It's made in China. The nut is 43mm like a P Bass and it weighs just short of 4KG - it feels very solid.
The fingerboard looks like Rosewood but I can't be sure. I've contacted the supplier for more info on the woods used.
I'll get back to you when they reply."

Just looking again, the headstock looks like it has been photoshopped somewhat.

You can pick up a second hand squier for similar cash.  Resale etc.
