Oomo Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Decided to treat myself to a short scale bass about a year ago, so got in touch with https://www.wilcocklondon.com/ to ask if he'd make basses for lefties, and turns out that he did... So after a bit of wait and choosing specs (alder body with sherwood green finish, roasted maple neck with rosewood fretboard), it finally arrived. Looks and sounds fantastic so far, surprising versatile range of sounds, considering its simplicity (passive, 3-way pickup toggle, tone and volume controls). 10 Quote
pineweasel Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Very nice. I saw that on Instagram and wondered if it was going to someone here. 1 Quote
Trueno Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 All Wilcock basses should be banned from this forum… they upset my equilibrium. I think I’d learn to play left-handed for that one. 2 Quote
whynot Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Saw this one posted on FB by the man himself. Lovely looking bass. There will be a new home waiting when you're ready 🤣 1 Quote

lidl e Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 Love it! I dont play short scale, but i think he is making the nicest basses around today. If im ever looking to buy, id be looking at a long scale version f the white one on his homepage. It says he makes long scales but i dont know if ive seen one. Quote
