Early 2006 Spector Legend for sale. Extremely high quality Korean made. It was made just before they went over to the soapbars, so It has the P/J pup configuration.

I bought this off eBay at the end of last year but can't seem to get on with it. The bridge position is seemingly "further in" that on a Fender type, which puts the nut a bit "further out". Not what I'm used to and as I'm quite a small chap, it's a greater stretch for me. I've just bought a medium scale Fender Stu Hamm Urge, so this must go.

It's got a beautiful quilted bubinga top and a dark red stain that I just couldn't resist. The best part is that the previous owner had the pup and preamp ("tone pump Jnr") professionally upgraded to active EMG pups ( http://www.emginc.com/displayproducts.asp?...p;categoryid=24 ) and "BQC System" preamp ( http://www.emginc.com/displayproducts.asp?...p;catalogid=141 ). This has a pots for volume and panning and 2 stacked pots for bass/treble cut & boost and mid cut & boost / mid-sweep. This thing roars! It can generate the best "aggressive", mid-range snarl that I've ever been able to get. With the pup panning and EQ, lots of thumping and mellow tones can be dialled in too. Don't need to tell you lot how flexible this combination is.

Nice gold hardware that seems to be very good quality. I had it checked over by the Bass Center when it arrived and they gave it a clean bill of health. Comes with a quality Fender gig bag.

With postage/import duty and check-up this only came to just over £340: seeing as the upgraded electronics probably cost about £200, it was a steal. The bass is in excellent condition with hardly any wear at all. There seems to be a tiny amount of corrosion on the extremely chunky bridge which I've managed to capture in the photos.

£250 Delivered. Any questions, please get in touch.
