francisabear Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 (edited) Hi all, I have a TC RS212 which is sort of long and thin (56 x 664 x 498mm). On stage I struggle to hear sometimes, especially when I have to stand too close to the amp due to space constraints on stage etc. Due to the shape of the cab, I'm struggling to find a amp stand which would fit and still be stable. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks all. Edited December 5, 2022 by francisabear incorrect model code Quote
Bigguy2017 Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 Check Amazon for folding step stools... https://www.amazon.co.uk/PopStep-Folding-Compact-Perfect-Bathroom/dp/B07DH994NT/ref=sr_1_7?crid=2ALIGIK3TDVN3&keywords=step+stool&qid=1669653083&sprefix=step+stool%2Caps%2C77&sr=8-7 2 Quote
mr4stringz Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 The step still is a good idea. I used to have one of these cabs and found the same thing. They’re a right weird shape as well - narrow but deep, as you say. Quote
Franticsmurf Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 Depending on the weight of your cab, this. https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/15987592/hi-gear-sloan-stool-15987592 I'm using one that came with a removeable table top as well to support 2x TE1x10 cabs and a Peavey Minimax 600 - about 20kg in total. Mine will take a total of 90kg in stool form. Quote
francisabear Posted December 13, 2022 Author Posted December 13, 2022 Hi all, thanks for all the replies. In case anybody re-visits this thread with the same problem, this is what I went for: Kampa Grid Step ...combined with a small retaining strap for extra safety and stability, it looks like this - just the job: 4 Quote
