Headway EDB-1 preamp

Has anyone tried one of these with a normal fretless bass?

Interested in any answers here as the Headway is on my list of preamps to try with a fretless.

Why would you want to do that ? It's designed for acoustic instruments using piezo transducers and/or dynamic microphones.

 

It'll probably work, but there will be many better choices aimed specifically at bass guitar.

My fretless is semi-acoustic and uses a piezo.
