Six string question

I've got a six string 35 inch scale strung thru body, do I need extra long scale?

Any recommendations , my bass is a bassmods jazz , going for a modern gospel chops type sound , I'm more of a p bass with flats guy normally so don't much about this stuff

What tuning at you using? B-C or something else?

 

Do you like the feel of the extra space between the frets?

If so, yes you need extra long scale strings intended for at least 36 inches scale basses.
