Miller M7 5 string tone control

So my Miller M7 arrived safely from thomann!

 

Really happy with the setup and active sounds are great.

 

I've only just realised in passive mode, the passive tone control doesn't really change anything. I'm thinking a fault with the tone pot...or is it just a really minimal variation in passive mode?!

 

I've double checked the instructions and it's definitely the passive tone pot, it seems to make no change whatever variation of pickups I use.

 

Any others have a similar experience?

Mine works in passive mode, it doesn't take a large amount of top off, mostly the very high frequencies.
