PaulThePlug
Thats different! Looks like the E and G should go tother side of the peg... And thats a mighty pointy headstock, could have some ones eye out! Is the headstock different colouring down to lighting or a reflection? Eric.C.Lapton
I have a Burns flyte guitar I’m rebuilding. The Mach one humbusters are original to the bass but it looks like a refinish due to lack of decals. The most popular colours were silver (there was a problem with the paint and they turned green) and natural finish. Slade had a bass (recorded on at least one track) and guitar, also Marc Bolan was pictured with one Heres a link for more info https://www.hendrixguitars.com/Va484.htm Edited December 3, 2022 by Eric.C.Lapton

Coincidentally, the shop also had a headless project in the storage area when we went looking for the Flyte's case (haha - a Flyte case!).

Not that finding a replacement is likely to be easy.

Philip Westgarth
I have for sale on eBay a Burns Flyte bass guitar body and neck made by Sherwood in the 70’s. The serial number on the neck is 371 and the body is 254.
