Woodinblack
Got mine today, seems pretty solid and appears to work ok. Don't get clicking on the compressor, or scratching on the volume.

I reckon the compressor issue is dependent upon certain input signal characteristics and may therefore only affect certain users. The scratchy pots might be down to a particular batch of pots so may not affect every unit. Edited December 12, 2022 by Sparky Mark

Newfoundfreedom
Yup. That's the tube version which seem to be going for silly money now. Maybe that's just a reflection of how good they are.

We just got used to a silly price that was probably a result of G4M selling at close to cost to raise revenue in this incredibly difficult time for business.

petecarlton
Mine has just arrived - got in under the wire! It was so cold from the courier's van that I'm literally letting it warm up to room temperature before even connectng to the mains. Gives me time, I suppose, to study the typically skimpy manual. Fingers crossed re pots, etc.
petecarlton
So far so good - no scratchiness, no clicking comp. However, has anyone got any ideas of where I can find a suitable gigbag for this amp? I wondered what others are using... Any suggestions gratefully received! stewblack
I have two of them in one of these But as ever the cheapest option is a decent holdall or small suitcase from a charity shop.

lemmywinks
Bass Direct lists dimensions and some compatible amps for the mixer bags they sell: https://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Gig_Skinz_Gig_Bags.html I like the Gator bags if they have one of a suitable size.

Burns-bass
I read this and was about 12 seconds away from buying one, and then I re-read the psychology of collecting thread and didn't as I have a functional gig rig. These look like great amps and a good bargain (if you need an amp).
