obbm
The bass amp at our local jam sounds very flat so I’d like to use my Flyrig as it gives the sound I want. In order to facilitate quick change-overs it needs to be battery powered. It works fine on a PP3 but lacks some oomph. Has anyone attempted this or can recommend a good 9-volt battery solution. danweb22
I use the following for home practice so I don’t have to find an adjacent socket. It powers my Origin Effects Bassrig and a headphone amp (with an extra cable) Lasts a long time and just recharge the pack when you need to. Downunderwonder
What's wrong with carrying a double plug and a 9v wart? 9/10 there's a spare outlet so the double plug is only for the 1/10 time. Blimin' sight easier than carrying a battery power pack. You would do well to learn where flat enough EQ is on the controls of a few of the likely suspect amps in your area. Then you can plug in the front and no worries about pedal output level like you get plugging in the back.
Hellzero
I use this to power 9 Volts item and it really lasts around 5 hours. It's almost the only powerful 9 Volts power bank I found a few years ago... It also integrates a torch lamp, which is very useful, has 2 x 9Volts sockets and a "power left" display. https://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_powerplant_powerbank.htm

That looks ideal. Thanks.
fretmeister
I've got a Rockboard Powerbank XL for that sort of thing. Works well and it can be used while being charged.
obbm
Thanks for the suggestions. I've ordered the larger Harley Benton Power Bank which also does 18v so hopefully I can run my Ashdown Pre-DI as an alternative.
