Hello everyone,

 

The time has come to part with this superb bass. It is a Warwick Dolphin Pro I 5 strings from 2006:

The instrument is in very good condition. There are a few superficial scratches on the back and 3 spots of clear varnish on the fingerboard side. 

 

Otherwise everything is original. It has been played very little over the last 5 years. The frets wear is very light.

 

The bass is located in Toulouse, France. It will be sold in a Rockbass bag.

 

2500€ collected, or worldwide shipping at buyers expense.

This is absolute perfection. The nicest bass I've seen all year! I wish I had the cash, but, it would be March before I could do this!

Out playing with a symphony orchestra tonight.  Xmas sillies including songs from "frozen" and some, inevitable Slade song!.  All went below bottom E.  Had to leave the dolphin at home and take the 5-string Wal ☹️.  I did need that "extra" string. 😁

Both basses have their uses!  Quite why the wal is currently worth so much more remains a mystery.  The dophin has better ergonomics and is probably better made - and a clear tone that a Wal just can't do .... but the Wal does do that thick & phat sound that nothing else can match (and has a B-string).

That is sublime. I’ve sold up for quite some time but this bass has a very strong draw……. That finish is something else.
