Someone on here bought one a while ago for a deco piece. I can't remember who it was now.

IIRC quite a few Russian guitars used the 5 Pin DIN connector, with on board switches for amp settings selection, channel reverb etc. Quite a good idea if standards are adhered to. Maybe it was for paired Guitar and Amp from the same manufacturer.

 

I think the Muse guitarist has on board effects or switches, to operate so not tied to one place on stage...
