Hello from me

I realised that I set up my basschat account over a month ago, but never posted an introduction. How rude.

I have been playing bass for about 14 years. Previously in a punk band whilst at university, and now I play in a couple of bands at my church. I play about 3 times per week and I guess my style varies with the range of songs we play.

My top 3 bass players (before reading this forum - now I'm not so sure) are probably;

1. Matt Freeman (Rancid)
2. Les Claypool (Primus)
3. Timmy C (R.A.T.M)

I currently play a Yamaha RBX374 --> Pitchblack tuner --> DI --> PA. Although I've just bought an Ashdown Neo mini 15 cabinet and my Klystron 500 head is on order. I'm attempting to simplify things after using rack gear for a number of years (wireless, V-amp, tack tuner, midi foot controller)

Anyway, other than bass I like mountain biking / bmx / snowboarding etc. and teach ICT at a secondary school.
