SX VTG custom handmade Jazz Bass

Just bought one from a friend who's got into 5 string, he modded the above Bass with EMG pups, Wilkinson Bridge, absolutely bowled over with the quality and playabilty....Swamp Ash body, Maple Neck it's very well made and got it for £200 it's great anyone on here got any love for the SX Basses....all the best folks.

Aye i'm over the moon with it, lost interest of late but since buying it, it's actually got me back into practising again.

Never thought of that will ask one of my daughters and see if they can sort something for me, cheers.

I had an SX Jazz and Precision, both in Lake Placid Blue, till I retired. I gigged with them for years, and never wanted to use anything else. Sold them, along with everything else, and wish I'd kept them. 🧐

I believe the lovely bass player (Laura Lee?) from the band Khurangbin plays a cream SX jazz bass too.
