Yamaha BB734A Battery Life

I recently bought a Yamaha BB734A and absolutely love it. 

 

However...

 

The battery life seems pretty poor!

 

I've taken to using it in passive mode these days instead of active (which was the reason I bought it!)

 

I unplug when not in use - even breaks @ gigs. 

 

It doesn't seem to last very long at all

 

Anyone else with one give me an idea of how long a decent battery lasts in their BB734A please?

I changed the battery once a year, never had any issue with battery life at all.

My 735a is at least 2 years old and is still on the original battery, however, the bass is not seeing a lot of use at the moment

Same issue here with a 734.

The battery life is around 2 weeks, I play ~1h / day.
