Hart 6 string *TRADES* £400 Manchester

Hart 6 string bass

made in greater Manchester,burl elm body(I think),not sure of the neck or fret board,thought I’d dip my toe into the 6 string world,but it’s not for me,I’ve got stubby fingers,so I’m looking to trade it for a 4 string either fender guitar or bass/G&L,I’ve put on a £400 price as a guide as I’m not sure what it’s worth,currently strung as EADGGC,any questions?,I’ll try my best

A few questions if I may:

 

Do you know what the pre-amp is?

Do you know what the pickups are?

Do you know the string spacing at the bridge?

Do you know the weight?

2mm at the 12th

Just had it on the scales,it 12.5lbs!,and a few pics of the pre amp and string spacing at the bridge and the 1st fret

12.5lbs... Wow, that is a chunk! Spacing looks roughly 16.5mm, maybe 17mm if measured directly at the saddles. 

 

I am a little tempted... if I did buy it, I'd very likely get rid of that extra bit of neck, the odd thumb rest and reshape the upper horn as it looks a bit cumbersome and definitely adds a lot of weight!
