nilorius
If You could have a chance to choose any of worlds basses to have a new years gig, which one would You preffer ? I don't need this chance, because i already own my best think worlds greatest bass Ibanez GWB 1005. Roger2611
Depends on the music I am playing but in most cases it would be my much modified Fender 50's classic bass....all the Precision bass I ever wanted!
TheGreek
Paul McCartney's violin bass. Not interested in playing it, it's probably worth a few bob already but once Macca dies it will be worth a few bob more. I'd sell it and buy any bass I want and a Ferrari. Sorry, I misread this as a NY gift. Edited December 31, 2022 by TheGreek 1
TheGreek
I'd like to have an Enfield, with SimS pickups...should cover the ground for most situations and styles.
gafbass02
I just want an Ibanez EHB. Nothing fancy, but since covid, I can’t manage much at all in the way of weight, and I’m stuck on the side of the stage which always has a wall in headstock range, so the EHB looms in my future, should the day ever come when I can find the money. A simple wish but it’s mine. Edited December 31, 2022 by gafbass02
neepheid
Just give me my Epiphone Jack Casady Signature, or my G&L CLF L-1000 if I'm feeling fancy and let me at it!
merello
One of Tony Levin’s Musicmans.
Linus27
Pino's fretless Stingray please. That would suit me just fine. I'd even lend him my fretless Stingray if it left him short for the night 😂

Wonky2
I’d really like a thump on one of them Stanley Clarke alembics 😍

kodiakblair
I'd stick with my trusty pine slab body P-bass.
SteveXFR
I'll take Lemmy's Rickenbacker. Obviously I'll be needing his Murder One amp and stack of 4x15 and 4x12 Marshall cabs. Just one chance to badly play Metropolis on Lemmy's gear would be amazing. I love that to most bassists Lemmys sound is the stuff of their nightmares but it was just perfect for his blend of punk and metal.

Dan Dare
I'd play my existing instrument, that I am familiar with, for any gig that mattered. I know it would do the job for me. Not interested in coffee table basses.
Horizontalste
Herb Flowers blue jazz 😍
tauzero
An F Bass VF-5 PJ. Just because I'd like to see what the neck that Scott Devine thinks is the most comfortable he's ever played is actually like. Change of mind - Bass Lab double necked 5-string headless fretted and fretless.
