OK, so I am not a luthier or anything but assumed it was customary to take a bass to bits when painting it?  Instead of slopping over the jack socket, pickgard, pickups, bridge cover (gold ffs?) neck etc etc.  Then not painting the bits your 3" brush couldn't get into.  Jeez.

I can only think he painted it at night with the light off.  He seems so pleased with it as well.  Jeez.

Someone should invent a product you can use for masking off areas so that paint does not go where you don't want it to...
