Kev Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 (edited) I know they'v done this a couple of times before, but a few NOS Artist Line Warwicks have shown up on Thomann again, at bonkers prices really for 2023! P Nut £888: https://www.thomann.de/gb/warwick_al_p_nut_4_nb_showroom.htm Lee Sklar £979: https://www.thomann.de/gb/warwick_artist_line_sklarbass_i_vsth.htm EDIT* So the Sklar is a well disguised Rockbass so isn't actually a bargain, but the P Nut is from the old Artist series circa 2012 ish, well worth the money. SloppyChops Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Been keeping my eye on these listings for a few days but the ones I'm interested in are still out of my price range unfortunately. Quote
Kev Posted January 7, 2023 Author Posted January 7, 2023 The Sklar is actually a Rockbass, so forget that one. But they have a couple of those P Nuts and they look fantastic for the money, must have been around the £1600 mark when they were sold new about a decade ago. 1 Quote
velvetkevorkian Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 P-Nut...[cigarette drag] now there's a name I've not heard in a long time (also be careful googling him, there's a prominent Urban Dictionary definition on the first page 😬) Quote
jonno1981 Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 I thought the pnut was neck through? Maybe memory failed me. Interesting to scroll through and see the price of a thumb nt4 these days. £6k!!!! Quote

The German version must be around the £7k/£8k mark these days. Quote
Newfoundfreedom Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 I'd be more than happy with either of those. But if definitely take a punt on the pnut if finances would allow. Quote

jonno1981 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Thanks. Ah that explains the lower price. Still lots of high end hardware here. I had a streamer jazzman many moons ago with this pup combination and it was decent. I wonder how much one of those would cost these days. £3k+ I’d imagine. Quote
