On Hold: 1996 Music Man 2EQ Stingray in Cherryburst - *SOLD* £1200

As there hasn't been much firm interest on my 77 P Bass I thought I'd put this up for sale. It's my 1996 Music Man 2EQ Stingray in Cherryburst with a beautiful maple neck. It weighs in at 8lbs 7oz so it's a lovely comfortable weight. It sounds amazing too. 
 

There are signs of use but it's very clean and the neck is lovely and has matured nicely. It's currently strung with nickel round wounds and plays beautifully. 
 

Theres no original case but him happy to post it in a generic hard case to keep it safe. It comes with the original Pearloid pickguard and an after market black one. 
 

I'm looking for £1,200 posted insured. No trades please.

BCer @bassface2k10 has a similar bass. His has the bullet truss rod (like yours?) adjuster at the body end. 

His was built at the time EB was taking over MM.

He says it's known as the "Transition" model. 

Any of this ring true for you?

Mick- I think the transitional models were a few years before this one. As far as I'm aware this is a full-fat Ernie Ball

EB took over MM in 82 I think.

There was a 'transition' bridge in 95 when they moved from the 'Flea' bridge to the cut down bridge.

I have an 87 that I think is the transitional model. Same colour as this, bullet truss rod, but bridge with built in foam mute system, chrome battery cover and 4 bolt neck plate.

Looks fabulous as Cherry burst. A subtle difference to the Honey burst which I have. GLWS.
