Mickeyboro Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Yolanda Charles is doing one locally, but I have received Facebook flak for suggesting its a tad overpriced at £35. https://m.facebook.com/groups/209662726215011/permalink/1547836445730959/ What would you be prepared to pay? Quote
Mykesbass Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Usually they are tied in with a manufacturer and/or retailer, so yes £35 is steep. Even a bit pricey for a gig in my book. Quote
Burns-bass Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 I’d pay £40 for a bass lesson and £20 for a book. If you like what she does, I reckon it’s ok. Quote
Jakester Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 It depends what it is. If it's a genuine masterclass, i.e. small numbers, actual teaching, then I think that's more than reasonable. If it's just a performance, then perhaps a tad steep. Quote
