It’s amazing he has lived this long. A great musician but he did rather dabble too much in the drug culture of the 60’s & 70’s. Byrds and CS&N were 2 pioneering bands.

I suspect he's a good example of the role of DNA in the whole thing 👍

Sad news. I'm also surprised he lasted this long.

There was an interesting program on Crosby on Sky Arts last year. Hopefully they'll show it again.

Rest in Power. I was lucky enough to see him in the Byrds around 1970 and in CSN 2005. This is just breathtaking:

The list has started already.

To be fair, we are approaching the time when those who were abusers in the 60s/70s are coming to the end of their natural lives so we should expect a few more in the coming years.

RIP sir.

I was only just watching a documentary on The Hollies on Sky Arts last week, Graham Nash was talking about leaving the band and moving to the USA, he described his first meeting with David Crosby, pure magic, it just clicked.

I saw Nash and Crosby do a show a few years back and, even then, it was clear that Crosby had some health issues.

His voice though and those harmonies were just fantastic. RIP.

He was on one of the 1st Rockenteurs podcasts with Guy Pratt & Gary Kemp, and a great listen it is, they have also done a short tribute this week, seems Guy knew him quite well and it was due to this friendship he was on one of the 1st podcasts.
