It makes a little more sense when you know the mic they're imitating, the DPA double bass mic. But yep, definite failure of communication somewhere with the listing and graphics!

That DPA mic lives and dies by the capsule suspension, some very odd harmonics in the strings after the bridge.

 

I have to say they nailed it for live performance, not so much in the studio.

Well, I invented a pickup that only amplifies the pauses in between songs.

 

Just wait till I get it on the market, I am confident it is going to be a huge success.

it is indeed, and i can not play a single note for the whole song, but it will be as funky as rain man in psychedelic bell bottoms.... errr ....which is not that funky at all really.....yea...soooo..... eeerr,  al get me coat.
