Question

Posted

Every time I type anywhere on Basschat the text I'm typing randomly has thousands of page breaks added to it! Was trying to message another user and every word I typed was followed by about 20 page breaks! Same when typing this message, had to delete literally 400-500 page breaks! No idea what's happening!

Yep, found a report on the invision forum about it happening to people with Samsung Galaxy phones on invision forums - no obviously fix so far apart from people say turning off Power Saver mode  or battery optimisation stops it happening.

Right... I 'think' I have the solution...

Go to the Samsung Keyboard settings, click on 'Suggest Text Corrections' and switch it off.

Seems to have worked for me for now...

There were a few people on forums I had seen that said they had contacted samsung, although no replies about any outcome.

@binky_bass - that seems to have resolved the problem!

That setting refers the typing to Grammarly for checking.  Had I known that was a setting I would have turned it off anyway, regardless of whether the API worked properly or not.
