FS: Immaculate 1997/98 Ashdown ABM500 Head - one for the collectors?! £350. £350 Chelmsford, Essex

Rare chance to buy an immaculate Ashdown ABM500 from 1997/1998.  I picked this up as a package with some 408 cabs last year and it hardly looks used internally or externally.  I've had it cranked up in the studio through two 408's and it sounded glorious and worked perfectly.

 

Amongst the very first built and Handmade in the UK - I'm loathe to let this go but I also can't bring myself to gig it incase it gets damaged and so I always fall back to my ABM600 when space allows for a big amp.  I need to downsize my amp collection and raise some funds so letting this and a few other bits go.

Hard to value this as there are so few about like it.  The current 25th Anniversary Reissues are £1300, so £350 for the real deal feels like a bargain 😂.  It's certainly a cut above most of the battered and bruised ABM's that you can pick up for a few hundred pounds.
