Yeah - had one, my notes on it attached fyi. It's ok but I didn't find anything too much I personally could use live.

Tim Lefebvre had one of those on his board last time I was looking.

I have a future impact and i love it so much, im putting my deep impact up for sale locally.

 

Will be hooking up the midibeam 4connect to it today.

 

I know you told me i needed that morningstar, but i only have the one digital pedal with midi capability  and i really only wanted to add extra button and expression control.

 

But now that you're here, so i can hook up the midiBeam without having to configure it at all? 

 

By default, in standalone mode, i can just plug it in,power it in and the added functionality will be there.

 

I believe by default it will be program down and freeze for the buttons?

Im still working on the mothership. I have fully studied the manual now and am ready to tame this beast.

 

What does this mean about using a TS cable instead of a trs. Would that be just a footswitch, not an expression?

Expression controls CC1 by default, switch 1 does Program down, switch 2 does freeze. You obviously need an expression pedal and a two-button switch (or two single buttons) to hook up to it.

i do have the expression pedal and two button switch ready to go!

Yes it matters as each jack socket is set up differently.
