lancer Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 (edited) Hi Folks I have a fairly large saloon car and would like to purchase the 15. I’ve measured the boot and I think it would fit but might not when you try to angle it in. Has anyone had experience of getting a 15 in their boot. My car is a large family saloon. I realise this is a fairly random request for advise Please be nice 🤣🤣🤣 Edited February 3, 2023 by lancer 1 Quote
lancer Posted February 3, 2023 Author Posted February 3, 2023 (edited) Yeah That may work, I’ll measure that as well. I bought an Ashdown 210 admittedly it wad boxed but I only just managed to squeeze that in, so I don’t know. Edited February 3, 2023 by lancer Quote
Dan Dare Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Without knowing what car you have or its dimensions, nobody can really offer meaningful advice. There are 15s and 15s and large family saloons and large family saloons. Fwiw, I can get a 15 in the boot of my Camry with ease, but it has a huge, deep boot with an opening that is quite close to floor level, so no surprise there. Quote
lancer Posted February 3, 2023 Author Posted February 3, 2023 Problem solved it’ll go on the back seat 🤣😊😊 1 Quote
BassmanPaul Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 (edited) Remember to belt the cabinet in securely. You don't want it joining you in the front if you need to brake hard for some reason. Edited February 3, 2023 by BassmanPaul 1 Quote
Bill Fitzmaurice Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Make a cardboard box the same size as the cab to test it. 5 Quote

Downunderwonder Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Some joker in Egypt managed to put 1,000,000 miles on his taxicab. Mercedes gave him a new one to put his one in their museum. Quote

Probably like when Trigger got 17 years out of the same broom 🙂 To the OP - a NY121 fits in a Jaguar XFS boot if that helps... but only very just, getting in the hole is the problem. Back seat is fine Quote
