diskwave
Flicked the remote and what a treat. 80 I think. Weird catchy pop, The Regents (17), Ska, Legs and co and even ACDC which Ive never seen before. It all sounded so fresh and uplifting, specially The Regents...talk about simple effective production...beautiful.
Marky L
Yes, it's great catching up on some of these. Many of which I haven't seen since the day they aired and apart from the well known bands and songs, it's those odd ones that you have no recall of that I love (and question how it ever got in the charts!).

I'd missed that episode and song. I was 17 at the time and "seeing" a gorgeous Italian girl, a year older than me, who was on a long holiday in my town. She used to sing this Ahhh... memories.
fleabag
It appears to be Damien Pew playing that bass but there's precious little info on the band itself, let alone Pew 7 Teen was released in '79. They had another single released in '80 called See You Later Edited February 5, 2023 by fleabag
