Bassassin Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Interesting, looks nice & could be a bargain. I'd be very surprised if that wasn't a DiMarzio Model P (early one, from the silver poles) as this wouldn't have been fitted with that style of P pickup as standard. Looks like a solid timber body too, from the lack of big contour oversprays. 1 Quote
TheGreek Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Currently at £123 and 15 bidders. This won't sell at a bargain price. 1 Quote
Stub Mandrel Posted February 4, 2023 Author Posted February 4, 2023 Was only £59 when I saw it. I have a very similar but rather battleworn one. Quote
oldslapper Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 I had the same bass with maple board. Played good and sounded like a P. 1 Quote
Stub Mandrel Posted February 8, 2023 Author Posted February 8, 2023 Mine is maple, but with a blockboard body Quote
Bassassin Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 Not a super bargain then but still a reasonable price, especially if that's a DiMarzio in it. 1 Quote
