FS: Relic Telecaster Bass Body - *WITHDRAWN* £325 Whitstable

Too many projects and this is one that probably won't get finished. Lovely and authentic looking and feeling wear by @d_g of this parish, original listing here

Other parts are.....

- 51P Slab Alder Body finished in ocean turquoise metallic with heavy relic

- Bareknuckle 51P pickup

- Bareknuckle jazz bridge pickup - Reverse wound and reverse polarity to the neck pickup so that they hum cancel and sound like a jazz bass when both on

- Gold anodised style pickguard (not actually anodised but looks the same)

- Fully working P Bass Tone circuit with three way switch for neck/both/bridge pickup

- Relic screws

- String trough ferrules (very difficult to buy!)

- Relic output jack cup

 

Bridge was close to £60, body cost me £295 so how about £325?

Well unless someone buys this today it's going into the workshop and emerging in a few month's time as the Beedster Charlie Tumahai Sig Bass, with a nice aged blonde finish. I remember seeing BBD on OGWT and thinking 'that's not the standard Telebass that you see here" (given the number of bands that used a blonde Telebass on OGWT I suspect it was a house instrument), but it always looked like a very cool bass. 

 

Anyone up for a Be Bop Deluxe Tribute act?
