I have no experience with these Tribute series basses... but i bet this is loads of bass for the money. looks great.

I had a quick play of this the other day while sorting out the sale post for my friend, and was surprised by how huge it sounded. A very powerful pickup, tight, full and loud. It also felt comfortable to play, the neck felt lovely.

Same pick up as the USA bases if i'm not mistaken..

My word that looks tasty!

Another great bass in my sweet price point.

I wish the market here was anything like the UK (it's all massively overpriced crap here). Then again, maybe not. I wouldn't be able to move for basses. 😂

Steve's friend has just bought my Fender P bass, he might not be a member of BassChat, but he is a very genuine and honest person.

He came and collected the bass and we spent a couple of hours chatting all things bass, and a few other things too.

Deal with confidence. 👍

If this was a fretless I’d be all over it. Oh, and a different colour. 5 string.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR LIFE! 🤣

I 'think' this used to be mine.  G&L basses are hugely underrated and unjustly so.  Smaller than a P bass so light on the shoulder and the US pickup that is 'powerful' as in a bite from a shark is a bit 'nippy'.  Great basses and the build quality far outstrips the price point.

The detuner doesn't flap at all in drop D if its was mine/is the same as mine.

Thanks, that pick-up certainly is a beefcake and the detuner (which is rock-solid) is a really welcome addition.

I agree how G&Ls punch much higher than their price point. I'm on my fourth - should never have sold any of the others.

A lot of bass for your money - you would have loved one of these as your first bass - still great basses as your 51st.
