evan47
Has anyone tried the BOSS Waza Air Bass headphone system with an active bass? I am thinking of investing in the BOSS system for silent practice with my Spector Euro 4LX. I have heard of problems with the BOSS Waza Guitar system with active 6 string guitars, was hoping the bass version would be without problems. Bunion
Here’s a reasonably long thread about the Waza. I’ve had no problem with passive or active basses I’ve used it daily since I purchased it on release
ped
They are fine with all my basses except one - my Celinder makes a ticking sound every second or so. Fine if I send the signal from bass to my backbeat then to the sender though. No idea why.
Hellzero
You have something with a digital power supply close to your Celinder @ped, or even a watch can do that ticking noise too. There are two ways to suppress this : find the "faulty" device and discard it or make a real full shielding of the Celinder (which is not the best part of Celinder basses, that said). Urban Bassman
I use mine with Spector NS2 and NS4 (and a Euro 4lx when I had one) and.....they all sound fabulous no issues whatsoever. I can't recommend these headphone enough, they are really great.

Woodinblack
I don't generally play any non active basses and they work fine.
