I believe I have a solid challenge to that title. I look like my face was beaten with a Peavey T40

I'm not really into showing off to announce my awesomeness as a bassist. On the odd occasion where I have felt the need to let them know that the bassist is in charge I slap on the overdrive and thump out the little 2 bar break in the middle of the bass solo from Damage Case. Takes about 3 seconds to play but always grabs them by the balls, even the women.

It's the weight that really matters and the T40 has a lot of weight

Ouch! I'd use a Les Paul...why waste a wonderful bass?

The difference is if you hit someone in the face with a Les Paul, it's neck will snap. If you hit someone in the face with a Peavey T40, their neck will snap.

Surely the acoustic sound and tonal qualities of the wood used make a different sound. Baseball bats are best made out of seasoned wood I hear

For a sound check it obviously has to be flight of the bumblebee, although not as slow as the original.

You jest, but.... 😃
